SW-X gas concentration transmitters have an ATEX-certified metal enclosure for Zone 1. The series consists of the following components:
- Gas sensor
- Electronic conversion circuit
- Terminals for electrical connection of power supply and signal output
- Metal housing and sensor holder with a sintered filter that provide the ATEX protection mode for the entire device
The gas sensors inside the ATEX protective housing may be of various types for combustible gases, toxic gases or oxygen. Depending on the version, the output signal can be analog current (4…20 mA) or digital (Modbus® or S-Bus with optional interfaces).
Compatible Control Units
- RYM02M0
- RYM02M1
- RYM02M2
- RXF01M
Use: The transmitter must be used only to measure the gas for which it has been calibrated; see the device marking for the gas type and measuring range.
Long-term stability: Under normal operating conditions and in the absence of potential toxic substances that could alter operation, the catalytic sensor provides good long-term stability for five years from installation and initial operation.
