SY…N gas concentration transmitters are designed for non-classified ATEX areas. They measure the concentration of the gas for which they have been calibrated and convert it into analog and digital electrical signals. Depending on the model and detected gas, the sensing element can be catalytic or electrochemical.
The series consists of the following components:
- Gas sensor
- Electronic circuit for conversion
- Terminals for power supply and electrical connection of output signals
- Enclosure and sensor holder with protection filter
The device supports sensors for different combustible and toxic gases. The terminals provide an analog current output (4…20 mA) and a digital Modbus® output. Gas concentration can be read remotely through these interfaces; parameters and thresholds are configurable via Modbus®.
Self-diagnosis. Recalibratable transmitter. Interchangeable sensor.
Suitable for detecting methane, CO, LPG or petrol vapours. The metal enclosure contains the electronic circuit and sensor, protected by a sintered filter.
