FG/FG-M/FGB/FGB-M pressure regulators are designed to reduce natural gas and LPG pressure in civil, industrial and commercial applications, secondary gas-network pressure reduction stations and installations requiring rapid changes in flow, including burners, industrial furnaces and boilers. They are suitable for low, medium and high-pressure applications.
FG: regulator only. FG-M: monitor-version regulator. FGB: regulator with slam-shut (UPSO/OPSO). FGB-M: monitor version with slam-shut (UPSO/OPSO).
FG series pressure regulators are direct-acting, spring-loaded devices controlled by a diaphragm and counter spring. The balanced valve design provides a constant pressure setting when upstream pressure changes. Designed for high regulation accuracy, they are suitable for pre-filtered, non-corrosive gases. The top-entry design permits easy maintenance without removing the body from the pipeline.
The FGB version includes an integrated safety shut-off device (SSV or UPSO/OPSO) for excessive and low outlet pressure. FGB-M is the monitoring solution incorporating a safety shut-off device. If the main regulator fails and downstream pressure reaches the monitor set point, the monitor takes over flow control.
FG/FG-M/FGB/FGB-M regulators are CE marked and approved by Bureau Veritas under Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), in accordance with EN 334 / EN 14382. Regulators are supplied with an internal sensing line and preset for an external sensing line to be installed by the customer.
