Single-Gas Portable Detector
Be Safe SG is the new portable single gas detector designed to be compact, solid and easy to use. Configurable for one gas among O₂, CO, H₂S or SO₂, it can be used in hazardous areas with risk of explosion or to access confined environments, in order to ensure the personal safety of the operator.

Gas selection: Oxygen (O₂), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) or sulphur dioxide (SO₂). Each instrument measures one selected gas, not all four gases simultaneously. The reference to flammable gases does not mean general LEL measurement; detection is limited to the target gas and range of the fitted sensor.
The operating life is 24 months from first activation, based on 2 minutes of alarms per day. Event logs can be downloaded via infrared communication using the optional Be Safe SG IR-Link accessory.
Additional Features and Applications
The detector features an electrochemical sensor, LCD display, IP67 protection, minimum and maximum alarm thresholds, acoustic, visual LED and vibrating alarms, and adapter support for bump testing and calibration.
Suitable applications include sewer and underground work, power generation, firefighting, chemical, pharmaceutical and aerospace environments where hazardous gases may be present. Follow the manufacturer’s user manual for safe use, bump testing and calibration.
