PN10 isolation joints are steel joints used for the sectioning of low pressure (10 kg/cm²) service lines for gas and water. Isolation joints provide cathodic protection in all piping systems and serve as a positive leak-proof, long-lasting block against the flow of electrical current. The installation of insulating joints on service lines guarantees superior security of the pipeline and significantly reduces maintenance costs.
The Welding-Welding PN10 joints have welding ends. The Welding-Welding joints must be installed through welding to the service line. Welding-Welding PN10 joints are available in small diameters ranging from ½ in up to 3 in.
Meccanica Segrino insulating joints are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of UNI-CIG, ASTM and API. Insulating joints are tested and manufactured in accordance with UNI-CIG 10284.
