RGI 001 MSX2 is a gas detection control unit that can be connected to two external sensors. It has no internal sensor. With compatible sensors, the system can detect gas concentrations well below danger thresholds.
The IP54 enclosure protects the electronic circuits from dust and humidity. When a sensor detects a gas concentration above the alarm threshold, output relay 2 is activated immediately. A pre-alarm siren can be connected to this relay, and the LED corresponding to the sensor that detected the anomaly lights up.
If the gas concentration remains above the threshold for approximately 15 seconds, the shut-off solenoid valve also closes. The device has a reset button.
Suitable for areas that are not classified under ATEX.
